Kay Bojesen Dattie The Skier Girl
Designed by Kay Bojesen towards the end of the 1940s, this cheerful girl skier with pointy red hat and red checked shirt is named Dattie after Bojesen's daughter-in-law. The girl skier’s equally colourful companion is named after the designer's son whose nickname was Bojie. Originally only produced as a small series, the original wooden figurines are now very rare. but the series has been re-launched by the respected Danish Rosendahl Group in order to bring joy to another generation of collectors around the world.
