Description
Tryfan (917.5m) in the Ogwen Valley, North Wales, has a classic shape for a mountain, with its rocky northern spine rising to a clearly defined summit. Popular with climbers and adventurous walkers alike, it features two huge boulders on the top named Sîon and Sîan (Adam and Eve) with a gap between them: the challenge for all climbers reaching the summit is to jump the gap!
William has painted the mountain under a dramatic sky with clouds sweeping off Glyder Fach behind it – giving us a real feel of one of the wildest parts of Snowdonia.
Set within a dark wood frame.
